Become a Volunteer

If you’d like to become more involved with GLEE as a volunteer, there are several ways to go about it.

Go to your local Green Drinks gathering. This is a good way to meet others who live in your area and have the same interests, find out what projects or events you can get involved in or network to promote your green business, service or product.

Sign-up for the GLEE E-Newsletter on the home page. It’s free and full of all the green news that’s happening in the Florida Keys and beyond. It’s the best way to stay in the GLEE loop and includes our monthly calendar!

Attend a GLEE Steering Committee meeting. Held every 4th Thursday of the month from 4-6 p.m., these meetings are held in the Marathon Florida Keys Energy Cooperative (FKEC) meeting room (subject to change). Go to our Calendar page to confirm the date and time. While you’re there, check out all the other activities and actions GLEE is involved in. For GLEE meeting confirmation, write to info@keyGLEE.com or call 305-923-1994 in advance.

If you have a block of time to give each week and would like to become a regular GLEE Volunteer, please fill out this Volunteer Application. It will help us know more about you, your interests, skills and availability.

GLEE is a volunteer organization with limited staff, so most of what we accomplish is thanks to Volunteer Power. If you have big ideas, by all means bring them to the table and be prepared to lead the effort. If you’re more interested in helping GLEE maintain momentum on its current course, we will gladly match your skills with GLEE’s needs.

GLEE needs your help to fill the following volunteer “jobs” to assist our fundraising, volunteer/membership, communications and programming committees.
