Why be a GLEE Exhibitor? EXPOSURE!
You are invited to be an exhibitor and join an estimated 3,500 visitors, residents, builders, contractors, utilities and environmental organizations at the 3rd annual Florida Keys Green Living & Energy Education (GLEE) Expo Friday through Sunday, May 9-11, 2008. This event is dedicated to demonstrating ideas and technologies that promote renewable energy and water and energy conservation.
Friday kicks off with the GLEE Green Living Awards and Business-to-Business Reception. This provides your company the opportunity to exchange information, and ideas with potential new clients and distributors for your products with other vendors, sponsors, businesses and interested residents.
The Saturday Expo, free and open to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. will be a unique opportunity for your company to present its products and services to the Florida Keys and south Florida residents. Interest in “green” is booming around our planet. People are eager to explore new venues to conserve and save money. The Expo will take place on the new campus of the Marathon High School, just off US 1 at MM 50, on Sombrero Rd.
Sunday provides a variety of opportunities, depending on your energy level. You can attend the Networking Brunch with the movers and shakers in the Keyswide Sustain-Ability Project, tour a variety of Keys Green Homes or take the day off and go on a kayak trip with a local ecotour operator.
The Expo will be extensively marketed through advertising and promotion with regional radio, television, and print. Additionally, The Keynoter newspaper will print and distribute 32,000 copies of a four-page program guide the week of the Expo, and make 2,000 extra copies available the day of the event.
As an exhibitor, you will be listed in the program guide and linked on our website, www.KeysGLEE.com. More than thirty free workshops with local, regional and national speakers will attract a motivated audience. An organic farmer’s market, a hybrid car display, entertainment and other activities will make it a not-to-be-missed event for the whole family. Exhibitors will have the opportunity to promote their products and services at our pre-events, a Green Lodging workshop sponsored by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and CEU workshops for the building industry.
We look forward to sharing this exciting and educational event with you and your company. For more information, please contact Melanie Elder, Expo Coordinator at melder@keynoter.com or call 305-743-5551 ext. 17.
