“Love Your Mother” Networking Brunch
In honor of Mothers Day, GLEE is holding a special “Love Your Mother
Earth” Networking Brunch at the Key Colony Inn Restaurant to give presenters and exhibitors a chance to network with Keys green leaders.
This event is being sponsored in part by Biodiesel of South Florida, LLC and is by invitation only.
GLEE is proud to showcase the following eleven homes that will be open for tours on Sunday, May 11th of Expo 2008. We invite you to peruse these “alternative” buildings and see for yourself just how efficient, well-designed and normal they really are. From cisterns to gardens, solar water heaters and photovoltaic solar panels, the owners of these houses can tell you about their experiences and help guide you in your own remodeling decisions.
By design, sign ups for the GLEE Green Homes & Gardens Tours can only occur at the GLEE Expo between 9am and 5pm at the GLEE booth in the Marathon High School Courtyard on Saturday, May 9th. However, we encourage you to plan your itinerary by perusing the sites and times below, in order to make onsite sign up easy!
Don’t forget to stop and remember what we’re trying to save. The Keys environment is incredibly unique and very vulnerable to sea level rise. Join local folks that make it their 
business to explore, interpret and protect our natural heritage.
Ecotours of our natural areas from esteemed kayak, bicycle & snorkeling guides, as well as discounts to our award winning state parks, natural history museums and visitors centers will help you wind down from Saturday.
